Guwahati, July 6 Three members of a family were electrocuted in Assam's Chirang district on Tuesday morning, sources said.
According to report, Nilbala Barman(35) of Bengtol who reportedly was grazing cattle in a paddy field came in touch with a live wire falling on the ground. She was electrocuted.
Two of her sons also lost their lives, while they were trying to save their mother.
Local people alleged that the wire had been on the ground for last
three days, but the Assam State Electricity Board authorities took no
measures.
