Rangiya: One woman died on the spot and three others were seriously injured when they were hit by lightning in lower Assam's Kamrup (rural) district today.
Police said Asim Khatun died on the spot and three others were injured when lightening struck them while they were working on their paddy field at Baliguri.
The injured were admitted to the Baliguri hospital.
