Kohima, jan 7 : Night curfew have been imposed and prohibitory orders under section 144 of the CrPC have been imposed in Sibsagar district of upper Assam bordering Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.
According to an official release received at Mokokchung, Additional District Magistrate of Sibsagar clamped the curfew prohibiting movement of any person or group of persons and vehicular traffic in the 5-km belt inside
Assam bordering Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh to detect suspicious movement of anti-social elements. The order would remain in force till February 11, the release said.
