BHURAGAON, Dec 28 – A deer from Orang Wildlife Sanctuary after crossing the Brahmaputra river entered the green field at Chenimari under Laharighat police station in the morning on Friday.
Seeing the deer walking through the field, the villagers caught it and they later handed it over to the Laharighat police. The matter was also informed to the Forest Department officials.
It is noteworthy that a deer was killed for meat a few days ago by some people at Kathoni under Laharighat PS.
