Rangiya (Assam), May 15 (PTI) Four persons, including two women, were today arrested after more than 80 kgs of ganja was recovered in their possession in Kamrup (Rural) district here, the police said.
A joint team of police and army, during a routine check of buses on National Highway 31 here, found the contraband in ten gift-wrapped packets in two suitcases.
During interrogations, the accused said they were going to deliver the ganja at Pathshala in Barpeta district and Silguri in neighbouring West Bengal.
