The National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) will be training around 200 farmers from different districts of Assam grouped teams of eight on scientific dairy farming at the NDRI located in Karnal.
Dr A K Srivastava, director, NDRI, inaugurated the first training programme in which 28 young farmers of Nalbari and Sonitpur districts of Assam would be imparted training for five days.
These programmes have been sponsored by the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) Assam.
