NEW DELHI, Feb 5 A five-member delegation of pro-talk ULFA militants belonging to the 28th Battalion of ULFA led by Mrinal Hazarika arrived in the Capital here today to hold discussions with Govt of India. According to sources, the delegation is expected to meet a cross-section of political leaders, opinion makers to elucidate their views on a negotiated settlement of the militancy problem.
The most significant meeting will be with the officials of the Home Ministry.
They will discuss the revised ground rules recently introduced by the Government. The conditions like surrender of weapons, confinement in designated camps, among others, have not gone down well with some pro-talk ULFA members.
